Another day in a democracy!

I'm going to stop watching television. I'm tired to the bull shit they throw at us and call it news. It isn't news, it is simply what "they" want us to think about, it is simply a distraction to what is important. It is simply bull shit. I spent most of the night reading online news, watching videos of the way protesters were being treated at the RNC and wondering what has happened to our country. Sarah Palin a VP? Really? How many offers did McCain make before he got a yes? This is not a "woman's" or a "man's" candidate for VP. This is a woman in way above her head. I don't vote for the sex or gender of a leader, I vote for the leader that will do the right thing for the majority of the people, even if that action isn't popular. I want women to succeed in leadership roles not be set-up for failure. Another day....my two cents.
