How do you stay entertained when you are snowed in? #postaday2011

Snow Days are the best - as long as you don't have to travel or one of your family or friends doesn't have to travel. It really would be wrong to enjoy snow days too much if they caused family or friends problems. (but I really love snow days!)

How do I stay entertained?

1. Shoveling
2. Hot Cocoa
3. Reading
4. Knitting
5. Baking
6. Napping (although I'm not very good at this one)
7. Shoveling
8. Warming up the car to just warm it up - we aren't going anywhere.
9. Hot Tea
10. Finding warmer socks and attire
11. Walking in the snow
12. Rolling in the snow
13. Snow angels
14. Ice Skating - not as much fun in Iowa because there are not any outdoors ice rinks in Iowa. 
15. Cross Country Skiing
16. Shoveling
17. Pushing out cars for folks you do or don't know. This is good "car"ma! 
18. Lots of heaving comforters, flannel jammers, bed by 7:30 pm

Snow Days take the ouch out of upper mid-west weather for a bit. I will take this over 70 degrees and sunny. It builds character and there aren't as many people around here! :)
