- A year being 50 years old and doing what is good for me or as my sister says, "Taking care of number one. If I don't no one will."
- I look forward to enjoying my family more and work less. I'll continue to enjoy work - but I look forward to the possibility of spending more time with family. I've been working on my doctoral degree since 2002 (finished in 2009) and I've been missing time with family.
- I look forward to a "vacation" this year. I haven't taken time away from work that was more than 4 days and didn't include some packing of work or school related reading/writing/work. I am going on vacation in 2011!
- I look forward to more sleep. I've never been a stellar sleeper but in the past few months I crave more sleep and rest.
- I look forward to more serenity in 2011.
- Finally, I look forward to the positives and less than positive moments, as these give me opportunities to grow and learn more.
My two cents on the world, people, perspectives, interactions, injustice, and social justice. I'm working through my questions and curiosities of where we are and how we might get out of this mucky mess and achieve a glowing, loving, peaceful community. My Two Cents welcomes your two cents as we collectively reach for interconnection.
About Me
- Penny Jo Rosenthal
- I am the Mother of two great adult children, Elizabeth 27 years, and Scott 24 years. On September 4, 2010 I gained a new son-in-law in the family - Josh. I look forward to the new adventures this brings our family! I find it difficult to be a human "being" versus a human "doing" and strive to find a peace and serenity.

What are you looking forward to this year? #postaday2011
I don't really get into the whole New Year's thing. I don't care to celebrate on New Year's Eve or make resolutions. Each day is a new beginning and opportunity to begin again. In fact, you can do this any time during any day. I don't think there is anything magical about the first of January. However, I do like to look forward to new possibilities. For 2011 I've made a list below of the things I am looking forward to:
